CSUS Orientation

was AMAZING!!!!!!

I suffered from information overload by the end of the day, but it wasn't a bad thing. Once Manda and I had a moment to unwind and chat the information all made sense again.

Amanda is back on the campus (which is BEAUTIFUL!) today to officially register for her classes, get her student ID card, and possibly her parking pass. It looks like she will be taking 15 units her 1st semester. YIKES!

I had the pleasure of touring the campus yesterday ---- it is HUGE and almost a complete city in and of itself. There are approximately 25,000 students enrolled; and more than 1/5 of them are business majors.

Manda is a business major with a minor in criminal justice.

I think she'll love every minute of being a freshman on a university campus. Best of all .... it is right in our own back yard!

I have been looking forward to this day all summer long.....

tomorrow Manda and I attend her orientation for
California State University Sacramento!!!!

We'll spend the day touring the campus and attending seminars and workshops. Then on Thursday she'll go back and start registering for classes.

Since neither Russ or I attended college (the little I attended community college can't possibly count!) we are super excited and a bit overwhelmed by this process.

Hopefully I will have lots of pictures to share detailing our orientation journey!

Congratulations Miss Manda!!!! Dad and I are so very proud of you!
